2,800 Year-Old Tomb with Zigzagging Art Discovered in Greece

Archaeologists working at the ancient city of Corinth, in Greece, have discovered a tomb dating back around 2,800 years. It contains a limestone sarcophagus and pottery decorated with zigzagging designs.

'Evil Eye' Box and Other Ancient Treasures Found in Nile River Cemetery

Archaeologists in Sudan are excavating a cemetery that dates back around 2,000 years. The artifacts they've found include a silver ring engraved with an image of a god and a faience box decorated with udjat eyes. The udjat eyes offered protection from the evil eye.

'Rich' 2,100 year-old King's Mausoleum Discovered in China

Archaeologists in China have discovered a mausoleum, built for a king, that dates back over 2,100 years. They found about 10,000 artifacts including treasures made of gold, silver, bronze, jade and lacquer.
