Lost Tomb may be Discovered in Valley of the Kings

Excavations have started in an area of the West Valley where four foundation deposits and a radar reading indicate a tomb may exist.

Next Phase of Scan Pyramids Project begins at Great Pyramid

New muon testing will be conducted to try and learn more about two voids identified in 2017 in the Great Pyramid. Additionally two robots are being designed that may be able to enter the smaller void located by the north face of the pyramid.

Mithras Temple may align with Rising Sun on December 25


An 1,800 year-old temple dedicated to the god Mithras that is located at Carrawburgh, in northern England, may align with the rising sun on Dec 25. This day was eventually chosen by Christians as the day to celebrate Jesus's birthday. Some scholars believe the Romans celebrated the birth of Mithras on this same day.
