A tomb dating back around 3,300 year had been discovered at Abydos in Egypt. It contains a sandstone sarcophagus, painted red, with spells from the Book of the Dead.

A relief has been discovered and recorded at the Temple of Isis at Shanhur that shows the Roman emperor Claudius dressed as an Egyptian pharaoh while wearing an elaborate crown.

An silk outfit, decorated with peonies, that covered a dog named "Big Luck" from snout to tail has been published for the first time. Big Luck lived in China's Forbidden City more than a century ago.
